In terms of search results, we were very happy by the profiles shown to us on SingleParentMeet. There were plenty of results, plus all members receive a daily “matches” update. Essentially, the system analyzes your preferences and sends you links to profiles which ought to match what you’re looking for. This blend of automated matching and search options allows you plenty of flexibility when considering who to contact.

We were a little disappointed, however, by the search parameters which were available. These were limited, and we would like to see more options to help members to really narrow in on the sort of person they’d like to meet. That aside, the website provides plenty of ways to find potential dates, including the ability to find out who has been looking at your profile.

Upgrading to a paid account is really necessary to gain full access to the site’s communication tools and other features. Upgrading means that you can read and reply to messages, see members who’ve been flirting with you, contact members who have added you to their “favorites“ list and more. You can also upload or view videos, which is a great way to say hello more personally.

We were pleased to see that the site had plenty of members online when we logged on. You can quickly and easily chat to them, or opt to “go invisible” if you’d prefer to just browse the site. 

The site is owned by People Media, who have a long history and a wide range of experience managing dating websites. Millions of people have found their perfect partner through PeopleMedia, so it all bodes well for Single Parent Dating. You can see this experience working throughout the site, as it’s easy to navigate and use, with practical features which really allow you to connect.

Members can comment on photos, suggesting what they like about each picture. They can also “like” what they see, which is a simple but effective way of getting attention from the people you like the look of. Creating a profile is also very easy, and you can include some information about who you are looking for, and what you wish for your life.

Email-style messages or live chat features can be used to talk to members. This is simple but fun and you can quickly build a list of your favorite members if you’d like to easily find them again in the future. 

Dating advice and fun articles are also available. If you’ve been off the dating scene for a while, it might be worth checking these elements out. SingleParentMeet.com even provides links to help you find childcare, which is great if you finally decide to go on a date in person. 

In terms of costs, this site offers great value for money. Their most expensive paid option is just $15.99 per month, and the cheapest comes in at around $2 per week. There is just one paid package to choose from, which opens up all of the features.

If you want plenty of members to choose from, some really useful communication tools and a safe space to get to know other single parents, SingleParentMeet is a really good option. Whilst its search options could use a little work, and there aren’t perhaps as many additional features (such as a mobile app), it’s certainly worth trying out.
