I am writing this review in the hope that it will help someone who is considering using this site. First off, the site is pretty much useless unless you have a subscription. When you do subscribe, you sign up to an auto-renewal. It's important that you understand that this means without warning, when your subscription runs out the same subscription will be renewed and the money debited from your credit/debit card or PayPal account. If you do not want this, you can only phone Global Personals. THERE IS CURRENTLY NO ONLINE CANCELLATION FUNCTIONALITY. This means you have to call them during office hours. I waited fifteen minutes to speak to an operator. When I asked to cancel my subscription, I was told that they had done it and that also they were giving me two free weeks of subscription. The agent confirmed to me twice that the auto-renewal was cancelled. I never got any written email confirmation but trusted the agent's word.

Lo and behold, at the end my my subscription my PayPal account was debited with another £80 for 6 months subscription. I was livid and immediately filed a dispute with PayPal, stating that I had called and... (Read the full review)
