Mums Date Dads can create their own free profile as soon as they join the site, adding as many images and as much information as they like in order to make the profile an accurate reflection of their personality and what sort of person they are looking for. One of our favorite features was the mobile upload feature, allowing users to upload new images of themselves to their profile directly from their mobile phones. As with its sister site, Parents Dating, Mums Date Dads has an excellent video profile feature, allowing users to upload a video introduction to their profile in order to really show off their personality and interests. Finally, in order to ensure the safety and privacy of members, all Mums Date Dads profiles are verified for authenticity – there’s no ‘fake profiles’ to be found here!
As well as a number of good profile building tools, Mums Date Dads offers users a handful of other features that help make it easier to get in touch with other users to forge relationships. Members can send ice-breaker messages to new users in their area (and receive a text message notification when a new member joins within a defined geographical area) and take advantage of a number of search and filtering tools to find the perfect match on the site. Although, as with Parents Dating, we were generally pleased with many of the features on offer at this site, we did find the £7.50 a month subscription charge to be a little steep, especially when compared to other sites in this category. With many of this category’s most successful sites offering services at comparable prices (and many even cheaper), we do think that our readers should consider other services on offer before committing to a subscription to Mums Date Dads.
