Dating After Kids offers a safe and secure online environment for single parents to meet. They can chat using an instant messenger or send private emails, with gift options and more. However, this site is very similar to other websites in the Single Parent Dating category, yet it costs considerably more. 

So, let’s cover some of the features, positives and negatives of DatingAfterKids. Profile creation is simple and swift, but you can put in plenty of detail if you want to. If you’re not comfortable with making a full in-depth profile to start with, you can skip sections and come back to them later. Your profile can include lots of information about your life, what you’re looking for, your kids, dreams and more. 

As well as written information, you can upload photos to show off your best angles. A video option is also available, so you can welcome any visitors to your profile page and say a little bit about yourself. The ability to see and hear members on their profiles adds an extra dimension to the site which makes it a little more fun and engaging.

Other features include being able to write diary entries, allowing you to share your thoughts and experiences with other members. You can also sign up to receive mobile alerts, so you’ll never leave someone waiting for a reply for too long. If you meet someone particularly special, you might decide to send them a gift, which can be done through the site.

As we mentioned, there are several other websites which are similar to this one. In fact, they are almost replicas of one another, although the prices and membership seem to vary somewhat. For some reason (even though it’s not as popular), DatingAfterKids.com is the most expensive of the bunch, with 1 month costing about £30. The longer your contract, the cheaper it becomes month by month, but it’s still not particularly cheap, and certainly doesn’t offer very good value for money when you can get the same features on other sites for less money.

As we’ve mentioned on some of the other reviews, if you like Dating After Kids, we think it’s worth checking out some of the other sites in this category. Various other sites offer the same set up, but with lower fees, so there’s really not much to lose. The only real reason not to do this is if you find a member you like on DatingAfterKids who isn’t using the other sites, in which case it’s probably worth the extra few pounds to talk to them here.
